CLASSES AND TEACHERS
There are many wonderful dance teachers in our network, which can make it difficult to choose. However, our aim is always to consider the holistic talents of our line-up, encompassing inclusivity, approachability and team-work.
Their dance and teaching expertise in developing students successfully is critical and being sociable with a keen sense of fun
is also high up on our list of requirements.
Our ‘A’ List Teacher Line-Up is shown below and the schedule of classes will be updated in due course, but in the meantime, you can view an example of what the timings and content will look like HERE

BILL & BECKY COOPER
Bill and Becky's history of partner dancing goes back over 30 years and establishes them as one of the original group of teachers that helped put Ceroc on the National dance map. In addition to teaching at many main London venues they have been franchisees of Ceroc Thames Valley since the late 90s and ran numerous venues throughout the Bracknell and Reading areas as well as co-founding LUX with David and Val in 2009. They are, however, best known for their ever popular Friday class and freestyle nights in Twyford which have been attended by literally thousands of people over more than two decades and is always a buzzing night. With experience in Latin, Ballroom, Line Dance, NU-Line and Nightclub 2 Step, their keen interest in footwork brings diversity and creativity to all their classes.

Nightclub 2 Step (ALL)
Introduction to this popular close hold, social dance, also sometimes referred to as the Hustle and very popular in USA. You’ll have fun in this class with Bill & Becky and in the process of learning this dance style, you’ll also pick up tips for connection, lead, follow and frame.

BRETT STEWART
Franchisee and teacher from Ceroc Dorset, Brett gets to spend all his time in beautiful Bournemouth, which is clearly why he always has a such a huge smile on his face. This Prince Charming is a dream to dance with and a fabulous teacher with bags of enthusiasm and patience. His style is smooth and slotted with more than a smattering of funky style.

Stops & Blocks (INT)
This is a great class for intermediate Ceroc dancers looking to add some new moves to their repertoire and for followers to appreciate the lead and follow aspect of a more dynamic style of dancing. These moves help to create a 3 dimensional flow to your dancing with pauses, stops and blocks that aid musicality and expression.

CAINE LANGFORD
Host of the popular Bristol SILC Sundays and veteran teacher / DJ on the dance weekender scene, Caine is a smooth dancer, a joy to watch, and a pleasure to dance with. He has been teaching for around 15 years, currently in the Bristol area after a long time teaching in Sussex and the South Coast. Caine focuses on technique and connection and this makes him a natural choice to lead the foundation and progressive SILC classes at PURE.

SILC Foundation (Beg SILC)
SILC is the smooth, slotted dance that finds its home in the Chill-out & Utopia zone. The techniques taught allows room for interpretation and style that suits the slower music genres plays in the Chill Out and Utopia zones. The session is designed for those new to this style and focuses on mastering the art of slotting and timing.

SILC New Moves (INT SILC)
Caine & Millie will be introducing you to some new SILC moves to give your repertoire a boost and develop some variety. Suitable for INT SILC Dancers / INT+ Ceroc Dancers with SILC fundamentals under their belt.

DALE ST. ROSE
London Based Ceroc Teacher Dale has a passion for different dance styles and his dedication to dance has led him to win 1st place at the Ceroc Championships twice, the Blues Open Championships in 2007 & 2009 and joint 1st place winning spot in the Blues showcase Category in 2010..... And 2017 the Open Winner at the London Ceroc Champs. His background in Line Dance, Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata and WCS influence his style and syncopation, and this makes for classes that are full of pure body and soul. He's also a talented Dj and will be playing in both the Main Room and Chill Out room over the weekend.

Kizomba (INT)
Introduction to this sensual, dance which is danced in close embrace with notes of zouk, tango and bachata. Interpret the music’s flow through small, intimate movements. Whilst this is an introductory session, a beginner Ceroc dancer may find this class challenging.

DAN HEWITT-GREEN
Southampton based teacher and franchisee, Dan Hewitt-Green is one smooth teacher! One half of the original SO Ceroc, and now Ceroc Fever, Dan has been teaching for twenty years and is known for drilling down into technique, fluid moves and style plus golden nuggets of wisdom that help propel dancers to that next level. He’s also known for his propensity for mischief and getting the party started…

Simple Style Secrets (INT)
Taking 3 techniques to re-invent your moves to provide an infinite repertoire of moves that will fit any genre and any tempo. Moves of varying levels will be used to demonstrate these techniques.

DAVID & VAL ROKOV
As former UK Blues Dance Champions, organisers of the European Open Blues Dance Championships and co-creators of BREEZE, UTOPIA, PURE Blues and the LUX Dance Weekend, David & Val have over 20 years experience in teaching a multitude of dance styles including Ceroc, WCS, Kizomba and Blues. Having taught Blues at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level on all the Ceroc Escape weekenders for over 7 years, along with guest appearances at Rock Bottoms and Beach Boogie, they hung up their Blues spurs in 2015 to concentrate more on event management and their Ceroc franchise in Newbury. But they're back at PURE and ready to share their wealth of experience and love of Blues with a new audience.

If you love Blues music, you will love this class! We'll get you connected, slow you down, get you in sync with your partner and introduce you to the slinky, beautiful world of Blues Dance.

DEBBIE ATTWOOD
Debbie is the darling of the West Midlands! The hostess with the mostess on many of the Dance Holidays, including the ever popular Medfest, Blaze and dance ski holidays. With years of teaching experience and dedication to building her lovely community of dancers on the west side of Birmingham, her passion for dance never diminishes. She’s always dipping a toe into this dancefloor and that, gathering experience and skills that continually enhance her talents.

Musicality (ALL)
This workshop focuses on musical genre, breaks and interludes to help you better interpret the music. Suitable for all as this session will feature a lot of solo exercises & movements. Suitable for All and Solo Dancers

Think walking, posture, arms. Learn the tips to help you smoothly glide with elegance and style.

DEEJ & HEIDI MOORS
Deej and Heidi are one of the most dynamic and inventive dancing and teaching couples in our dance community. Multi award winning dancers both as a couple, and as dancers in their own right across the Blues, SILC and Ceroc scenes, they have a huge depth of experience. They have great insight into technique and musicality and couple this with a fun and engaging teaching style.

This is followers playful styling on speed! Interpreting the music, hijacking and finding opportunities to stand out in the crowd. If you’re developing skills for the competitive world of ‘Top Cat’ / ‘Jack & Jill’ you might pick up a few tricks in this session.

Counter & Control (ADV)
Explore the realms of instinctive shared & connected movement by adopting the perfect partnership of counterbalance and control, to develop trust in the dance and your partner. This masterclass will leave you completely in tune!

JORDAN & SHANNON
Jordan and Shannon, bring a fresh dance style to Ceroc Somerset. Their talents have put them in great demand with bookings to perform and teach nationwide, showcasing their smooth and musical style. From teaching on some of the key weekenders for Ceroc, to running their regular class nights they are both talented and approachable dancers and teachers.

Connection & Conversation (ADV)
Explore the art of partner connection and pave the way for dance conversation, creativity & fun. This class uses a set routine to demonstrate opportunities to develop conversational connection.

MASTERCLASS – Pre-Book (£10 per head)
Tempo Transitions (INT+/ADV))
Looking at all things ‘timing’, and how we can vary speeds throughout our dances, using acceleration and deceleration. This workshop focuses on response to music build, genre changes and sudden stops. Dancers will also explore adding faster movements in slower music to create light & shade.

NATALIE BAKER
Natalie is the other half of the Baker partnership and has been part of the Strictly Ceroc franchise for over a decade. With a nurturing spirit, boundless patience, and a genuinely kind approach, she has a gift for helping dancers of all levels. Whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or you've been gliding across it for years, her engaging, hands-on teaching style will not only boost your skills but also build your confidence. Known for her sociable, friendly energy, she will either be lighting up the dance floor to every genre of music, or joyfully chatting her way around the dance-floor edge.

Intro to Leans & Dips (INT)
This class will teach a range of signature leans & dips that you can lead and follow safely whilst adding some simple flashy & stylish punctuation to the dance. Leaders and Followers will benefit from technique instructions to boost confidence.

STEVE THOMAS
Steve is a veteran of over 25 years of Ceroc teaching and has taught at all major Ceroc Escape Dance weekenders for more years than we care to remember. As an event organiser he not only made the Dance Junction one of the most popular dance nights on the circuit but has also introduced some astonishing venues to our dance community; these include events at Ministry of Sound, O2, i360 and the Cutty Sark. His laidback and humorous approach, coupled with an extraordinary understanding of technique makes him an ever popular choice.

Whipcraft (INT+)
Whips put the whoosh and dynamism into your dancing. You probably have one in your repertoire, but this workshop will drop a few more in and make sure you have that technique absolutely right so that you create the momentum, capture the energy and redirect. Have fun with it!

Super Drop Zone (INT+ / ADV)
These are the big dippers! Flashy moves to catch the eye and impress onlookers. You should only do this session if you are attending in a fixed couple and already have dip and drop technique under your belt.

TIM SANT
Tim was one of Ceroc's youngest ever teachers and within a short period of time he shook up the dance world with his talent and enthusiasm. This not only led to National competition glory but also the coveted appointment to Ceroc's Head of Dance. From there he developed the Ceroc teaching syllabus and also led the expansion of Ceroc through main London venues like Pimlico and National weekenders. He was also a key driver of Ceroc's online teaching platform which was hailed as an invaluable resource for both dancers and teachers alike. This coupled with a grass roots understanding of our dance community, and his awesome teaching style, has resulted in him being promoted to the job he was literally made for; Ceroc's Operations Director. We are truly are blessed to have such a legend in our midst!

Lyrical Flow (INT SILC)
Developing beautiful flowing movements for expressive lyrical dance in the Blue Chill Zone. Taking all the fundamentals of SILC and dropping the funky, to embody the flow of lyrical music.
